Thinking of the new Chrysler color Copperhead, with flat black hood and bumble bee stripe. Not a completely original #'s matching car so I'm building it the way I want it. As for build details, as you can see mostly new sheet metal, sub-frame connectors, disc brake conversion in front, all poly graphite pst suspension rebuild with new super stock springs and hemi torsion bars. Rebuilding the 383 with a 440 crank for a 438" motor, eddy heads and intake, comp roller, probably make more power than I'll ever need but I won't be able to wipe the grin off my face.
As for parts, the one thing I haven't been able to find is the top well trim, I've got the transition moldings and the side boot moldings but not sure about the trim that would line the far back of the well opening. Any thoughts?

Convertible trim is hard to find and good pieces are not cheap. It's been a while since I've checked but I think all 68-70 B body will interchange so at least they are not one year only pieces. That helps (very little but it helps). If you ever find any convertible trim for sale, buy it whether you need it or not. It is too hard to find when you need it.

That's a nice color, think it will look good on the car, esp with the hood color offsetting it.

You getting a stroker kit for the 383 or having someone turn down the 440 crank?
Had a Forged crank already so had it turned down, still will have to go through balancing but should make enough engine for me.
Amen, I'm buying what I can find.
oooohhh....another vert! Great to hear...look forward to seeing some progress pics.
