Where can I get that HUGH valve cover grommet that goes on the 67 ? Thanks
Couple of years ago my local real parts store had them on the shelf.
ahhhhh , I dont know . Its the one with the biggest hole . I think it is some kind of oil / water seperater ? Its a big ol thing that plugs into the grommet .
Sounds like you need the grommet for the oil filler filtered cap/ventilator. Air comes into the engine, circulates picking up vapors then the PCV valve under vacuum draws that vapor and re-introduces it into the intake manifold where it will be re-burned, reducing emissions and making for a cleaner running engine.
Sounds like you might have a new valve cover than a 67? Can you take a picture of it?
I was talking about the PCV valve. In 67 it is a pretty big grommet - see pic. That was the old one. I may have bought a spare - I think they had 5 or so on the shelf. This was maybe 3 years ago.

I belive thats the one I,m talking about . theres a thing alittle smaller then a baseball that plugs into the grommet . It has one tube coming out of it . The engine is a 383 . I got another 67 with a 318 in it and it has the one that looks like the one that Markz posted. I need the one that 4264door posted . Where can I get that at ? Thanks . BooBoo
If it is 1 1/2 hole in the cover to fill and the hole is 1 inch in grommet use #2946079 or the part store can crosst hat # to there #
