getting ready to replace my front wing glass frame and glass into my 67 coronet 500.
anyone done this? pointers? tips? what to look out for?
I scored some used ones at the nats and there not broken like mine....
so hopefully I can get these in without breaking etc...

any help would be appreciated.
When I pulled the frame out of my 68, I broke 3 bolts on the 2 brackets. This bracket is about is about 7" down from the top of the door. Two bolts are on the outside (between the front of the door and the fender) and one is on the inner part of the door hidden by a plug. The outside bolts are the ones that get rusted bad. I ground off the bolt heads (I think they were welded on), and replaced them with new bolts and speed nuts (as shown in pic). So my advice is to spray them a couple of times with penetrant, and if you do break any, don't sweat it, and just replace them as I did. I am not positive 66 -67 frames are the the same as 68, but I would imagine they similar.
Once again, I will mention that a Factory Service Manual explains pretty much step by step on how to remove and install these types of parts and as far as the window adjustments that will be needed when removing this assembly, those are covered in detail as well. Most Factory Service Manuals purchased in a CD format will run around $30.00 plus shipping.
