Hello,
My car is a real R/T. It is a sales bank (Y16) code car. My brother-in-law bought the car in either late 69 or very early 70. Build date is 5-16-69

Hello again,
Car has some oddities. I talked with Galen Govier and he said since the car is a sales-bank car, he isn't supprised about the oddities. Car has a 3:23 Open 8 3/4
rear end, 22 inch radiator, 5/16 fuel line (instead of 3/8), has the correct vapor-separator fuel filter. We never have found a build sheet for the car, but then
again the head liner and the carpet have never been replaced.
take care,

Is part number 2949129 the correct shroud for my 69 Coronet R/T with 22" radiator?
Thanks in advance,

Hi. The 22" radiator was standard in the Coronet R/T with 440, non A/C and automatic. The shroud you want is what is known as the 130 shroud. My shroud was actually used for the early editions of the repops. I don't know if they are still being made or not.

All of that would be standard equipment with an automatic. Nothing really odd about that.

Hello Mike,
As mentioned above, Chrysler did offer the 22" radiator core on various big block powered Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth models as shown below in the pages from the 1969 Factory Parts Book. I've included the pages that show both the factory radiator fan shrouds and the various radiator cores for all of the 1969 models. including the parts that relate to your particular R/T that are listed in the column under "W" for all of the 1969 Coronet models.
As Mopars & Missiles mentioned, fan shroud part number 2949 129 that you asked about is only used on various 1969 models including Coronets with a 22" radiator core, 225 Slant Six engine and without factory a/c and will not work with your cars 440. As you can see in the part listings below, Chrysler used very specific fan shrouds for various engines and various options, so they are not all interchangeable between various engines and options.
For your R/T with it's 440 and 22" radiator core and without factory a/c, this is the fan shroud that you will need to find.

By the way, Vans Auto is selling a reproduction of the part number 2949 130 1969 shroud on Ebay. Maybe Doug can verify if this is the correct shroud?

Yes. That's it. That is the 2949130 shroud. I know the first runs were not successful due to the composition of the material. I do not know how later versions are holding up.
