I found this oil pressure gauge coiled up under the dash and now that it's mounted, what should I be looking at?

Here's a video of it idling and revving a bit (apologies for kid scream at end).

What's normal pressure during idle for 318 poly?

How about during normal 55mph driving?

Where does the "rotating" red mark need to be placed and what kind of "trouble" would I see when driving down the road... what numbers would cause me alarm when driving or idling or whatever?

Thanks in advance!

acceptable oil pressure is 10lbs. per 1000rpms. oil pressure will be high when the motor is cold and then lower when it warms up. my cars are usually around 20lbs. at idle and 30-40lbs when cruising and up to temp.

Thank you.
