Howdy all,

I was a member a long while ago, while it was on the old servers. Now I have a New user ID Smile. So at this juncture in time I only have one Coronet. It is a Persian White 1967 440 4Dr sedan. It has turquoise interior (Medium Blue), It is a 318 2bbl backed by a 727A and a 8 3/4 with a 2:94:1 spool. I have added a 67 clutch pack SureGrip.
It is a Los Angeles car, build in late December 66. It has A/C, PS, Fender Mounted signals, variable speed wipers, and bumper guards.

I'm the second family owner, I purchased it from the original owners Grandson. I purchased the car in 1991 with 89k. At 123k it needed to be rebuilt, it sat too long and one of the cam bearings came apart. During the tear down and assembly I found that the internals of the motor were a mess. The Crank had been dropped, which buggered up #5 Main journal, And the engine assemblers just loaded it in, also the deck had been cut .20 at the factory. It was a daily driver for a long time. In 2007 the passengers torsion bar snapped, and it was put on ice. I started working on getting it back on the road in 2012. It had a bad water leak and it wiped out the original carpet. So I tore it down and patched the floors and found a leak in the trough. I also re did all of the seals on the firewall and re-sealed the hvac box. I have it back together, and as soon I get the new windshield intalled. it will back on the road.

Originally I purchased the car as a parts car. At the time I had a (PP1) 1966 Coronet 440 Hdtp 361-2/804A, ( Yes one of the 160 made, and like a dummy I sold it  ), and a (WW1) 1967 Coronet 500 Hdtp 383-2/727A, (A Factory Drivers Ed Car, with buckets and a mother-in-law seat, console), and I had recently purchased a (ZZ1) 1967 Coronet 440 Hdtp 318-2/727A, ( Which had been in a wrecking yard for ten years, It was a "Black Hat Special". The Sedan was too good of car to part out, which is the fate the the 500 met. All of the others were sold and the Sedan is the sole survivor or my collection. I found the 67wh23 listed for sale back in 2009, and the last time the 66 wh23 was seen it was jacked up and had owners that did not know what it was, My guess is that it has been recycled Sad.

I know there will be requests for pictures, they will be posted shorty.

It is not too bad for a Utah car, but is needs quarters, floors, and cross frame work. ☺
