If I was to raise the front ride height on my 67 Coronet via the lower control arm adjustment.
Do I need to have the car re aligned?
For sure and with the front end higher you may experience front end lift at higher speeds. Just wondering why you want to raise it? Tire clearance?
I went with new rear leaf springs. I ended up with the 5 leaf spring. It did not make me happy and went with the 7 leaf deal.
Car rides awesome. No need for air shocks! The rear ride height is 3/4 inch above the rim on 14" wheels.
It's a nice rake and I expect it to settle.... With a full fuel tank and show gear I'm hoping to be at the top of the rim.
I'm not hell bent yet to make any changes until it get some miles under the new springs.
Hate to double post..... I love how these 7 leaf springs make the car ride!
If your running air shocks? There is a better way!
I removed my air shocks and installed the correct shocks. The passenger side shock had ovaled out the upper mounting hole big time!
