It will probably end up being sold at a future Barrett-Jackson auction for some serious money. A truly beautiful and rare car indeed!

The auction on Ebay for this '56 Coronet just ended today. Final bid was $45,100. Car didn't meet the reserve, wonder what it would have taken to buy this car? Sure is a beautiful example of an era gone by. My grandfather had a '56 Desoto w/hemi back in the day. I remember it just sitting in the barn yard in the early '60's because it didn't run anymore. He didn't know how to fix it, so it was pushed aside and he just got another car to drive. Darn shame.
