owned for 7 happy years. Absolutely love it !

The Coronet.
Well. My brother was doing some work at a house near my parents when he spotted a very moss covered Dodge. On further inspection it's a Coronet 500 and so gives me a call.
After grilling him for information I assume he has found a 68 Coronet 500 !
the next day after work I had to have a look and after pulling into a secluded drive way I'm met by one of mother mopars finest rear ends !!!!
big grin on my face I take a further look. Oh. It's a four door ! BUT. A very clean and original one.
So. After chatting to the house owner it turns out it is his sons car and the gearbox had problems 5 years ago and had sat there since !!!
fast forward a year ( lots of viewing and haggling )and she's mine.
Off to a local yank specialists for a new gearbox , brakes, headers, etc, etc.
finally on the road last January.
Done about 3000 relatively trouble free miles. Drives lovely !!
so. The spec.
Original 318 motor
holley 650 vac sec
weiand intake
hedman headers
flowmaster mufflers.

Rebuilt 727 with shift kit etc

8 3/4 sure grip.

Seats re covered in leather.

14" magnum 500's with black rims.

Thats about it. As I said it drives great but would like to try 3.55 gears instead of the 2.76 fitted.
