The dreaded Mopar aftermarket "direct bolt on" part syndrome.........black eye
Would be interesting to see how their new "redesigned" Mopar column works out, but as Mike mentioned, there IS a difference in the metal dashboard openings for the steering columns between the 1965-1966 cars and the 1967-1969 cars. The 1965-1966 cars have a smaller diameter non-collapsible steering column while the 1967-1969 cars have a slightly larger diameter collapsible steering column, thus the difference in the size of the dashboard openings, so how does a "one size fits all" steering column work? Me thinks that GM guys making aftermarket reproduction parts for Mopars is a bad idea.
