Regarding the GTX, I've been able to trace ownership back to 1974. It's lived in Colorado Springs & Boulder that I know of and I bought it in 1999 out of Thornton. It's a 440 4spd in frost green (F3) metallic with ivy green (F8) interior. I completely restored it back to stock in 2006 (actually from about 2003 - 2006). It was a solid car to start with - only a couple small patch panels behind the rear wheel wells were needed. Has the Track-Pak 3.54 Dana, so is a strong car.My first new car was a 69 Sport Satellite, so you can probably about guess my age. Always liked the body style, so went looking for this.Rich
That would be cool if it were the same one. Right smack dab in the middle.
Gees, I thought I was the only "old" fart here!!
Thanks. That makes me feel sooo much better.
New member, just got this 1953 Coronet convertible at Mecum auctions from Rogers' Classic Car Museum collection.
Probably not be run for a while, so lots to check. Has the scary gyro-torque transmission.
Need the sunvisors which are missing, so if anyone has spares to sell please let me now.
