my Carlisle precheck of my dart has snowballed. after finding I had a bad heater core, I replaced the heater hose fittings on the water pump housing with plugs and removed the heater hoses all together. then something didn't sound right and I discovered the bearing in the water pump had some side to side movement to it. I was shocked that I was able to find one at the local parts store, in stock. I have the old one off, i just have to put the new one on.

so we are getting together Saturday at 1 at the tent?

- talk about getting close!! I just dropped mine off to get aligned! The car drives SOOO GREAT after redoing the front end etc.
Cant wait to get it aligned and really see how it feels!!

65rbdodge - good luck with the dart! I hope you are able to get it together for the show. What day is everyone headed up?

I started a new job and have no vacation time, so I only took one day off(not paid) I`ll be leaving Friday morning between 4 and 4:30 am. I should get there a little after 7am. I`ll be staying until sunday. my spot #'s are P-211-212-213, near the corner against the fence. this is my 23rd year in a row of going to Chryslers at Carlisle, I started going when I was 15 and had bought my first car a 70 coronet the month before Carlisle 1991.

Last month Fran told me he may not make Carlisle so we might have to photoshop him in. Do we want to list what we're bringing or do pm's?

DONE!!



I even have some stuff packed in the car. the coronet is tucked away for Carlisle this year, these two take turns going.

Mark is correct. I'm unable to make Carlisle this year. It was a hard decision for me to make and I sure will miss all of you. Some times your the hammer, sometimes your the nail. LOL
I know I don't have to wish those who are going to Carlisle to have fun. They will have no chose but to have fun. For those who are going for the first time as members of the DCR, you are about to meet some very nice people. When your sitting under the tent have your favorite beverage take a moment and reflect that you won't have the Chicken Wing man to kick around this year. LOL
I'll be thinking of you guys and gales. One last thing, Mark, if you photoshop me in, could you make me look more like Brad Pitt or perhaps Tom Cruise? LOL
