I have some frustration with the shop doing the trim pieces. So maybe some can help me out.
When they put in the window and then put the chrome trim on the corners sit up about .25"!
It looks like POS. I then told them it was unacceptable and they told me it was because of the
deck filler. It sits fine on the deck filler but not where the rear quarter meets the deck filler or
the glass. I could push it down with my thumb and it looked fine. I told him to add a trim clip at each
corner and that would correct the problem. He then said it can't be done but didn't explain why. What do you guys think? I used to do this for a living and now have decided to just do the work myself even though I don't have any time to do it! By the way the trim and the rear quarters are original to the car and all the sudden they don't fit! I don't think so!!
your right there is a trim clip on each side of the corner of the B body rear glass.
aprox 2 inchs each way from the center of the corner.

its prettyt comon for the small studs those and other glass trim clips snap over to rust away.
one of the fixs we use at our shop if the glass is still in the car is to mount the trim clip at the correct height with a very / very small stainless metal screw after drilling the correct size hole for the screw.
tape a piece of cardboard over the glass and use a drill that has a plastic chuck nut.
you have to bow the bit a touch but if you use a good bit it will take it without snaping.
