hi Barry here..in case yo uguys see my car on craigs list well you did..i have it listed pretty high but,thats what I want .and if someone wants it bad enough they will pay for it..and in my opinion I think its worth it..so don't freak out or nothing..im sorry I have to do this. but its causing me so much grief and money I don't have but at the same time its my Baby..i love fixing this thing up..but I live so far off the grid.like 20 miles off the grid..its getting to be a pain in the....anyway its listed and someone can buy it but im not going any lower.its firm....im just tired.and need a dependable ride right now not next year.somthing a lot newer.this is my daily driver.being on disability doesn't help Im a rustic furniture maker by trade.and build guitars but its so slow I have no choice.this sucks.!!!..hate to see it go..i will cry and I will cry for days.but I have to do what I have to do..hey I could renig on the deal..i might not sell it..give me a couple days to get over my walking 20 mi.to town and back.cause that swhat im doing.every other day or so...im sick of it.i love er and its my baby ..I never though tit would come to this.but living this way is causing me to do something I never thought possible.my wife is getting to old to be having no ride..one thing gets fixed and then another thing happens..if I had another ride.it would be my project it is my project..and its a great running and great looking ride.but......sorry you guys..im so sorry..take care..and God Bless..Barry

I'm sorry you have to sell your car, we all know what it means to you.

Post the ad on here also in case someone else that isn't local is interested in it.

Barry, I too am sorry you have to make such a hard decision. Remember, we may love our cars, but they should always be secondary to family. You are making the right decision and who knows, maybe you will come across a cheap modern car and not have to sell it.

Good luck with what ever your Coronet leads you to.

I totally agree with all of the above Barry, but please remember this one extremely important fact, even if you do end up having to sell your Coronet, ALL of your friends here on the DCR will continue to be just that, your friends. It's not the car that makes the man cool, it's the man that makes the car cool my friend!

Hi guys..Just cant do it..im gonna hang on to her..its been a great car..and im not done completing it..i don't want someone else to take credit for what ive been doing.and like I said im not done w/it either.....so im sticken around everyone..im here to torment you guys somemore..and hey thanks for sticking w/me..Family 1st..thats a fact but man..this is my other baby..and I cant see anyone else driving 'er...ha,ha..i have a bigtime fuel issue..im gonna post im another section right now..lets break this thing down and find the problem..you all will freak at what ive done already..see ya there...Barry.....God Bless
