OK..
SO I will now hold off on using that as a template for mine.
Does anyone have photos of what it SHOULD be from factory?
It is argent silver,it's just the reflection from the flash!
beautiful car man. my favorite color!
mine has red also on the emblem...
58k orig miles...
just an fyi.

Yep, thanks. I took a look at mine very closely and I can see touches of red in the corners of that stripe recess. Now I need to find an argent silver spraycan. It would be much cheaper considering how much I need for the background part.

Just an update, this badge is NOT factory!
The factory badge had the TOP line in RED, the inner in argent silver and the BOTTOM line is BLACK.
I know for sure, since I now have a 1967 Coronet brochure and this is how it is in there.

Brochures are not 100% correct as to what shipped from the factory.
There are ones that show the 383 emblem on the front fender, just above the 500 script on a 66. I have yet to see one that came from the factory this way.
I prefer it over the all red, so that's how I will do mine.

Guys, I'm looking for this back 500 emblem.
Where I can buy it?
Thanks
