Good day gang.
Not much new with my 67. Had not driven it in over a month. I noticed last night that the air shocks went flat.
I noticed that the car has a bad sag on the drivers side.
Also I can't believe how low it sits with the shocks gone flat!
It's time for springs! I want the springs to support the car and give proper ride height without air shocks!
Buy new? Or have mine rearched?
I don't want that hot rod rake. Just that cool look with the wheel rim exposed
Have any of you folks gone down this road?

Espo's Springs and Things in PA is good to deal with. They'll customize the springs to whatever lift above stock you want.
Just my personal experience.. avoid the Mopar Performance springs. Lots of people (including myself) had issues with them sagging after about a year.

I've purchased new rear springs from St. Louis Spring Co. for our '64 Belvedere and '71 Charger. Good prices and reasonable delivery charges. The Belvedere had air shocks, that's why I replaced them. I had them built with 6 leaves each and had 2" of extra arch in the springs. The car set even higher in the rear then with the air shocks fully extended. If I had it to do over again, I'd just put 1" of additional arch in the springs.

In all my excitement . Did you custom order from scratch? Or a catalog? Part number? Or re man your old ones?
In short.... How would I order mine using your advise.
I just called them direct and discussed it with their sales rep. He's the one that suggested I go with the 6 leaf springs like they used in the station wagons that year. I had a 426 Max Wedge engine and that stiffened up the rear very well, but you'll likely want to stay with the 5 leaves. I also recommend that you order the rubber bushings directly from them.

Caltracs Monoleafs are nice too, and you can order them in stock, 2 inches low or 2 inches high. Nice ride and very light.
