Question - the wire for the washer pump - Should it follow along the engine wire harness (right VC) go down behind the alt and over to the pump or should it go across the firewall to the right inner fender and follow along the washer hose to the pump?
Jeff, the wire should be wrapped in with the alternator, temp sensor, and horn wires. It follows the head or valve cover and then spans from the area of the alternator over to the washer pump like the horn wires.

Oops, that is the 67 in me, let me go outside and look at my 66....

66 is the same.

LOL Richard consults his library and I consult mine.RoflRofl
The washer pump wire on my '66 is loose and not wrapped in tape with the others. The harness is still in it's original wrapping. Thanks for the info.
That's interesting, mine is wrapped, I thought they all would be. I wonder if someone rewrapped your harness or maybe mine?
I checked the pictures of my 66 harness, and it was wrapped..

so was my 67
I re-routed it with the harness (it reached) Thanks again
