Update, pulled the dash cluster out to clean and paint. found a post pulled off the printed circuit, it went to the purple wire. assuming it was to the temp gauge, it now works. figured that would take care of the new dash lights not working issue, it did not. earlier I replaced the headlight switch, and that got most working, but not all. Changed a few bulbs and had almost all working, then they just stopped. What do ya think now? regulator, printed circuit, bad wire, how could I test out of the car, power up the orange wire?

P.S. I soldered the post back on the printed circuit.

Everything works except the dash lights! and the radio light. All bulbs good, as well.
