Don't know if there is any Texans here, but there is a town cruise in Vernon, Texas, on Saturday August 10th. I'm going to check it out but my car isn't, dang it! Will most likely spill over to the Whichita Fall race track afterwords. Really hope to see some old Mopars there!
Vernon cruise was awesome, saw lots of mopar vehicles. Then spent, literally, the rest of the night at Whichita Falls Raceway! A very good time!
Got me going, drove the Coronet down to the next town and back on Sunday, then to work and back on Monday. I work a mile or so from my friends house, that I went to on Sunday, so I guess I put around 60 miles on her in 2 days. I did score a passengers side wing window with frame, and a ignition bezel nut, while I was at his house. He has a couple of Belvidere's back in his junk. The frame was different but the glass and hinge was what I needed, and looks to be the same but I am not 100% on that. Only draw back was that it had set so long, that I developed a small oil leak on the front of the intake. previous owners didn't do the same quality work that I do. Looked like the oil was coming out through the silicone on the front of the intake! Not a big deal now all I got to do is decide weather or not to replace the performer with a air gap now or later!!!
