I would check with Napa, as that is where I looked. The base number 5473705 is probably a inter-brand aftermarket base part number, that is why Cardone and Bendix both use it. The Napa website clearly identifies it as being Bendix Branded. The NBB part of the number I provided indicates the brand name or line code that they use at Napa.

The charcoal filter used to be something that was rather common and easy to get at most autopart stores, but since the seventies, most vehicles were being equipped with charcoal vapour canisters, so they are harder to find. Every newer car has one in the evap system, so a trip to the wreckers will turn up a few choices and some are quite compact in size.

I mentioned using a 75 Coronet because it was factory equipped with front discs and rear drums just like the A-body booster you are presently using. Plus just about every cop-car from that era was a Coronet, Fury, etc. and had the same booster.

Yea its a Cardone at Napa too. I called awhile ago and asked them. I took the booster off last night, hopefully get another installed in the next few days. Thanks, 67440dodge, Andy and Fratzog.
***NOTICE for future Power brake booster inquiries***

The 1967 Dodge Coronet (which requires brake booster part #54 73501) will NOT work with the brake boosters from vehicles that were equipped with booster #54 73705. Booster #54 73705 has a differerent size link on the back of the booster that hooks up to the car which requires some mods. but mostly because is to wide for the body of the 67' Coronet, and can not slide thru the firewall due to contact with the inner fender.

Sorry for the confusion. I miss-read your original post where you stated you were using the original booster. Again, I apologize.
No prob. I went this morning and returned the 54 73705 booster, then was able to find the right booster at kragen, which they ordered for me and I had it afew hours later. the parts rep. at kragen told me its the last booster of its kind available from there distributor. It's a cardone also #54 73501. I'm going to install it tonight.
