Hi, I live in Oklahoma and I recently bought my first Dodge car. It is a 1967 Dodge Coronet 500. It is a 318 2 door hard top, manual brake car. I don't know much about the build plate decodeing, but I do know it is a medium copper paint, brown, copper, and black interior. I did find an online decoder thingy that said it was a 318-2v enging, and was the 139,531st car schedualed for production at the St. Louis, MO. assembly plant. She isn't the prettiest thing in the world but I am proud of the progress I have made so far. It was a nonrunning car, when I bought it. After a 180 degree turn of the distributor, I had a running engine, a little exhaust work, a battery, a starter, a fillerneck gasket, and a wheel cylinder or two, and I can go to town if I choose! Once I figure out picture posting, and / or log in from the other computer, I will get up a pic or two. Thanks.
Glad to see you made it! Sorry for the confusion on getting your account approved.
Now it's time for your brother to pop his head in and say howdy..
He may, later on. He just left my house and headed home. He helps me some, on my car and I help him with his elCamino. The only one that helps me out more than him is my buddy's 11 year old, he has the resoration bug, bad!
Welcome to the site, love to see some pics.

Here is a shot of the good side! Hope it shows up, trying this from the iPad!
Here is the story, my brother needed some help on his ride, Needless to say I had his for about three weeks and got the bug for a project. I looked, locally, for something and found a Impala, but it ended up being more than I wanted to get into. My buddy is a driller, in the northern part of the state and told me about a car setting out in the middle of nowhere, said he would stop and check on it. It ended up being the Coronet, he sent me pictures and found out all he could about it. Needless to say, a month later I had a trailer hooked up headed north to get it. It was a father and son project that they had lost interest in, but wanted it to have a good home, and it does now. It had been setting for 2 1/2 to 3 years with new goodies on it and never got it started afterwords. They had added headers, a edelbrock performer intake, a Edelbrock carb, had the seats done, and put a set of tires on it. Got them talked down to 2 grand, put a starter and battery in it, turned the distributer around 180, poured in some gas, and fired it up. I have since changed over to a self contained electronic ignition, (distributor & coil, aftermarket), put on a couple of Thrush turbo's with flex pipe, for now, changed the fillerneck gasket, put in a new battery tray & hold down, 2 new rear wheel cylenders, and new rear brake lines. I still have to put another wheel cylender on the front and get the exterior lighting to work all the time, and I will be able to get it out and about some. There is plenty more things to come, I want to fix it up nice and have a runner to boot. I have plenty more pictures and a video or two, also.
