Got my car back today from John Holt (Columbus OH - does a lot of SS/AH cars). He put an Alterkation front end on it and went through the whole car.

Came out real nice. I am very pleased. Car lost about 35 lbs from the front but overall should be a much better car. He made quite a few changes including lowering the car and changing the rear springs from 130 lb to 170 lb. When I switched to the M/T 10.5 tire, the car spun quite a lot and no longer pulled the wheels, but was pretty consistent. We expect the car to wheelstand again. We'll see. Hoping for 9.50's in decent weather with the car.

If the weather is good this weekend, I plan on taking it out. Still need to get a diaper installed.

Not the greatest pictures...........

Looks great Mark.. I'd love to do a Alter-K on my car, but just can't swing what they run.
Looks nice Mark, I bet you cant wait to test it, we know how you like to get the wheels up. I was wondering about how close the coil on shock is to mount, at full extension is it any closer? And is the shock the limiter or is there a limit strap or bump?
NICE!
I've always wanted to ditch the T-bars but I run NSS and it's not legal there. Looks great and maintenance should be a breeze now.

Can't answer your first question - have not looked that close yet. And yes - the shock is the limiter. It is a double adjustable shock.
You may find it difficult to lift the front wheels with the AlterKation, there is far less suspension droop than there was with the stock front end.
Looks great, lots of eye candy under there.
Looks great!!
That looks very nice! I think Bill makes nice quality stuff. I have wanted to use his street lynx kit on the rear of a dart project I have.
