Hello,

Finally got my MOPAR!

Won this 1966 Coronet 440 Hardtop - 318 V8 on Ebay... I'm beyond excited to own this beauty.

I picked this car up yesterday and it's just in time for cruisin our big "Back To The 50's" car show at the Minnesota State Fair.

It's gonna be fun to be part of the show opposed to just watching the show.

Can't wait to start digging into this forum and check out other Mopars.

Here's a few shots of my new best friend.

very nice, welcome to the club
Congrats and Welcome Danny ! Nice looking `66.
Welcome Danny! Thats a nice looking ride!
You scored Danny, nice car

Poly's are nice engines
Nice car - love the '66s!
Very nice car! If I may for a moment ask you if the fuel filter I see is a glass covered unit or plastic? Glass filter lenses can shatter and pump fuel all over your hot running engine then burn down your car, seen it happen once. Also, those plug wires look very close to the exhaust manifolds, you may want to address that by moving them away and securing them away using wire looms. Like I said, very nice looking car you won, I would be proud to own that car as well!

Welcome to the site Danny. You'll find lots of people here with the same affliction. That is a very nice 440 you've got.

Awesome, Thank You.. that's why I love forums.

I checked the things you pointed out. Fule filter = plastic.
I moved the plug wires away from manifolds using the existing harness... just slid them up. I'll keep an eye on them.

HUGE BUMMER today... lost the brakes on my car and had to get trailered home. Sad

I was out for a cruise and slowly lost braking power... it ended in a Famous Dave's parking lot.

I've had the car since Thursday and it's in my garage tonight (Sunday) needing the brakes bled. Sad

I'm combing this forum and youtube to prepare for for this... we'll see how it goes.

Just broke my heart to see my car up on that trailer.
