Just became the 2nd owner of a 1966 coronet 440 that was originally bought in Los Angeles, with the vin saying it was built here too. It has a slant 6, but I think that will be coming out.

VERY NICE CAR!!! I would leave it with the original slant-6 but that I your choice. The body looks outstandingly rust free from what I can see, and being from California I can see why so many people try to buy cars from that state. WELCOME to the forums!

I don't think it's the original block. I was told it was changed under warranty.
