Greetings fellow Coronet fans. I'm new to the forums and wanted to say hello and show you a couple of pics of my "Barn Find" since I know everyone here seems to like pictures. My '67 500 is originally a 383/4speed car. vin WP27H77****** The pics attached show it in the barn where it was stored and then after getting it home and giving it a quick bath. It was somebody else's project that was never completed. They disassembled it and so it is missing some key components. Little things like the motor and tranny. The dash is complete along with the top cylinders and mechanism and most of the interior including the console is present. The side mouldings and most importantly the chrome/stainless for around the windshield are the items that are proving hard to get. I promised the wife that I would not start working on the drivetrain until I had these items. I did put a post in the parts wanted section but also wanted to say hello here and finally had the time to put up pictures. The story behind my finding the car is one for another time. If anyone has a convertible parts car sitting around rusted up to the door handles, let me know. I really want to get this classic back on the road.
Thanks, Mike

Welcome and nice find!!!!!
Welcome Mike, thanks for the pics Smile
Hi Mike ! Welcome to the site .
Sweet!
Welcome, a 500 vert 383 4SPD. That is a nice find. Shame they decided to get rid of the original engine. I have a 67 Charger 440 4SPD they did the same thing to. Sometimes you just want to smack people. (and then run) LOL. Thanks for the pics and keep us posted on what you are doing with it.
I shall do that and many thanks for all of the info on the boards here. I'm glad I found the site!
i am just sitting here drooling over that first picture...that is top of my bucket list
I wanted to update this for the masses..... I successfully located all of the windshield trim last weekend at the Midwest Mopars "Mopars in the Park" show/swap and the person I purchased it from believes he has the interior pieces and visors too! I paid a pretty penny for it but it has already been refinished so one less thing to worry about. Yay Me! Time to start buckling down on the rest of the plans!!!!
Yea, sometimes you have to pay thru the nose, only if you can find it.
