My buddy had the cop car but got rid of it. Traded it to some guy for a Saturn . It's somewhere in Ohio I think. It had the 318 auto in it. Not sure if it was an actual police package but it did have the rubber mat instead of carpet. My 72 has a 225 auto and has carpet. Might not win any races but will save me gas while I'm cruzin'

I believe fenders are different also between 71 and 72... They look the same, but don't fit between the years..
I love Mopars so much I'm date coding the skid marks in my underwear.

Now that's wild! I figured they would have been the same. Next time I see a 71, I will give it a good look...Thanks

a member from the old board did one for one of his HS class project's (he's a auto shop teacher). I remember looking at the one he did, and one of the hardest parts was getting a fender for it. Apparently they are even different between 4 door and wagon..

That's pretty unusual for Mother Mopar do make such a difference in a platform line like this. Especialy considering the economy in the early 70's. From the B-piller foward, the wagon and 4 door look identical. I sure would love to pick the brain of an assembly line worker from back then!
